for Ravenna, grew up in the deserts of the West and the beaches of the East. He cannot remember a time that he wasn't making pictures and thinking them magic.

After graduating from the University of Florida with a BA in Fine Art, he worked as a designer and art director for a number of book and magazine publishers. In 1993, he devoted himself full-time to his true calling: painting. In 1998, Nevins moved to Asheville, North Carolina, where he met Stacey Curnow.

Nevins has enjoyed a 13 year relationship with Blue Spiral 1 gallery in Asheville. His original paintings fetch between $2000 and $16000. His shows regularly sell out.

Nevins' works have universal appeal. They have been reproduced in publications in 16 countries on 5 continents. They have graced over 30 compact disc covers.

He says he has the best job in the world. He is never bored. You can find a sampling of his other work at danielnevins.com.
